James Matthew Daniel is currently the Senior Video Director for Global Citizen.

Past positions include Senior Media Producer for the American Civil Liberties Union.

James is a director and cinematographer. Working for both stage and screen, projects include:

Director of Michael Hersch’s Agatha with Camerata Bern, On the Threshold of Winter at the Peabody Institute and the Blair School of Music, director of Romance of a Lifetime as part of the Park Avenue Armory under-construction series, Director of Photography for The Manchurian Candidate at Minnesota Opera, Director of Photography for Kevin Newbury’s Epiphany V and STAG, editing the series Dudes with Cameras, editing Season One of Peeta Planet for Dubai One TV,  assisting on Todd Almond’s Kansas City Choir Boy, and assisting on other productions at Opera Philadelphia, Santa Fe Opera, The Prototype Festival, and Florida Grand Opera. James is a member of the GLMMR arts collective and works frequently with Artifact Films, Lights & Years, and the incredible duo at Navigate.
